Bötzow Berlin
This 24,000 square meter area along Prenzlauer Allee was once the largest private brewery in Berlin with its own beer garden for up to 6,000 guests. Since 2010, Professor Hans Georg Näder - owner of the medical technology company Otto Bock - adopted this particular location. His aim is to combine a social and cultural use by providing space for young, innovative companies and their research – the so called Future Lab. In addition, he promotes the location continuously for artists and exhibitions.
The famous British architect David Chipperfield created the master plan to redevelop the listed buldings. The historical part will be completed by new developments with focus on a flexible use.
